Another First Fridays Ride is Upon Us!

March 7 is another First Friday!

Join TBAG for a leisurely ride to Phoenix’s First Friday art walk.

We will gather at Mill Ave. and 5th Street at 6 pm to ride over, and will try to be underway by 6:10 to bike to downtown PHX. I will have to return somewhat early, but depending on who is interested we can organize a later return group as well. Be sure to bring lights, as the sun goes down at 6:30!

The route this time will be a little bit different than before and is slightly shorter (9.3 miles, see map below).

If you are planning on coming, please leave a note in the Comments so I know to expect you.

  1. Got this this in response to the email announcement about the First Friday Ride:

“TBAG members are cordially invited to Stop by Red Dog Gallery and the
Roosevet Bar (great post ride beer, wine and munchies), right next to each
other on 3rd St between Fillmore and McKinley. you can lock your rides to
our iron fence (Red Dog Gallery’s anyway) and wander!

  2. Ben: I don’t find that shortcut that much more helpful, but if we’re inspired to do so we can take it.

There are construction barriers up at the corner, but it’s not completely impassible.

Chris (and Randy): Thanks for the lead on the stopping point. We’ll make that our initial destination.

  3. Hi everyone, I am new to this group… Just happened to stumble upon the website while at work! haha, My boyfriend and I plan on joining you on the First Friday ride, assuming I can get off work in time 🙂 I am really looking forward to this as it is also my first time to attend First Friday, and I’ve lived here THREE YEARS!!! Can’t wait!

  4. hey – I’m going to be a little late, so I’ll try to catch up with you all, or will meet you there!

  5. Hey, I’m going to try to hook up en route… Where can I meet you in the Scottsdale area? I’ll be returning late though, going to see the Thugs at Paisley Violin.

  6. Jeremy: where Mill turns into Van Buren would be the best spot (right at Galvin Parkway).

    Hope to see you there!
