The Bike Saviours, Tempe’s bicycle co-op, is moving this Saturday into a new location behind Sunset Clothing Exchange on Roosevelt and University in Tempe. The new location will help the co-op become more versatile and accessible.

They’re asking for as much help as they can get with the move, which will happen from 9 am until everything is relocated. Their current address is 519 W. 19th Street. If you’re able to help, it would be especially cool to help them relocate by bicycle by bringing a trailer or similar hauling method.

Unfortunately I’m at a wedding Saturday, otherwise I would be there!

Starting at 8am on Sat, I already have plans to help organize the Chandler Recycling Center’s new bicycle repair shop. Afterwards, I can help the Saviours move if you still need me. I have a flatbed trailer we could load up like the Grinch who stole Christmas to get all those bikes, parts, toolboxes, and other heavy stuff moved as quickly as possible.

    The new place rocks.

The new place does rock, I stopped by on Sunday. Much more of a true workshop than the last location! And no problems with rain, weeds or mosquitoes!
