What: SanTan Wheelie Jam and Super Picnic
When : Sat. 4/28 11am-6pm
Where: Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix

What is it: It’s time for the second annual SanTan Wheelie Jam and Super Picnic, Saturday 4/28 at Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix: http://g.co/maps/9crw3 The bike parade is from 11am to 12pm and the SanTan Brewing Co. Beer will flow from 12-6pm.

How to get there: Ride your bike on the Grand Canal, or take the Metro Light Rail to the Indian School or Campbell stop. Then ride or walk to the east side of the park.

Why should I go:  All beer sales and admission proceeds will go to local cycling advocacy non-profits. There will be five local bands performing, bike games, a kids area, great local sandwich companies, bike polo, vendors, and many other activities.

The SanTan Wheelie Jam is returning on Saturday April 28th to Steele Indian School Park in downtown Phoenix. TBAG is partnering with local groups We-Cycle, Rusty Spoke, and AZ Bike Polo to put this event on, and SanTan Brewing Company returns as the title sponsor of the event.

Saturday April 23rd – Steele Indian School Park in Downtown Phoenix. TBAG is sponsoring a new bike and beer festival to benefit our non-profit partners in Phoenix. Come down and have a beer to support local bike advocacy, and bring all of your friends too!

There are a couple good bike routes from Tempe to Steele Indian School Park:

If you take the lightrail, get off at the Indian School stop and go north on Central. The park entrance will be on your right. Cross through the park towards the northeast to find the event.
