Blasting through NYC traffic and unloading every fixie trick in the book, Joseph Gordon-Levitt is the recipient of a high profile package that could land him in the hospital, or worse.

Check out the trailer

TBAG has been invited to an advance screening of the film. Join the gang for a ride to the theatre and you’ll get a chance to see the film for free for the first 20 riders. We’ve been extended up to 30 free passes, awesome! Meet at Tempe Beach Park at 6:00 pm, ride departs promptly at 6:10 pm. RSVP on Facebook.

Photo op at the ride start and in front of Harkins, about 6:40. Note: They’re kind of butts about riding in common areas at Tempe Marketplace (not the theatre’s fault), so be courteous with your whip-skids and then lock it up good to a permanent rack. It would be pretty unsavory to have your ride stolen while you’re in the theatre.

Everyone gets free swag just for showing up. Free sports bottles and posters will be given out. And if we got any extra stuff in the ol’ T-grab-BAG, we’ll bring it as well.

This looks like a pretty awesome addition to the barely-there genre of bike cinema, we hope you can make it.

trailer trash barbieFluff up the mullet, shine your gold tooth and rustle up your jumpsuit. Tempe Bicycle Action Group is once again giving you a reason to get off that couch you have on your front lawn. This is going to be better than the time you made out with your cousin – it’s the white trash Second Saturday ride, Aug. 11.

Join your fellow stained and smelly wife-beater-wearing compadres at 7:30 p.m. in Tempe Beach Park. From there, we’ll be swilling cans of Bud, comparing teeth (last year’s winner had three teeth, two in his pocket) and checking out the daisy duke cutoffs in the trash-friendly dives of Tempe. Maybe later we’ll do some gator wrestlin and watch re-runs of that time uncle Jeff got on COPS. Man I love that episode.

Ain’t no fancy affair, so any and all are welcome to come.

Where: Meet at Tempe Beach Park entrance: the northwest corner of Rio Salado Parkway and Mill Avenue in Tempe. Here’s where this ol’ Trailer Court Tour is going to take us… First we’ll get some border grub and watered down drinks at Rocky Point Cantina. THEN, we’ll cruise into the neighborhood of kissin’ cousins Apache Palms RV Park & Pony Acres Mobile Home Park for a stop at TEMPE TAVERN. After winning a bar fight (cuz they was eyeballin’ Miley’s blinged-out daisey dukes) we’ll be scootin’ along to STRAY CAT Bar & Grill (you know the one, it’s next to Tempe Cascade Estates & Montecito Estates) ‎… and when we finally had enough of Kid Rock on the juke box, we’ll make a last stop at the WAFFLE HOUSE where they hopefully have added tater tot casserole & fried bologna to the menu.

When: Saturday, Aug. 11, 7:30 p.m. Ride will leave at 7:45 p.m.

Cost: Free to ride.

Calling all music masters, wild warblers, or – if you want to follow current trends – angsty auto-tuners. Tempe Bicycle Action Group is giving you this chance to use your talent, or lack thereof, during this month’s Second Saturday ride, July 14.

Whether you’re in the mood for a dip in the River of Dreams like Billy Joel, you prefer to get funky with Medina like Tone Loc, or you just feel the need to shoot fireworks out of your bustier a la Lady Gaga, your talents will be welcomed in the finest karaoke gigs around Tempe. So put on your Star Child make-up and turn your amps up to 11, this one’s going to be a star-studded tour to remember. Join your fellow “artistes” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday July 14 in Tempe Beach Park.

Artists and cyclists of all types are welcomed, but no meat dresses, please. They attract the coyotes.
